Wow. I am so unorganized with my roleplays. xD; I tend to grow bored of things easily, but I've joined two roleplays so far that have really caught my interest. What's more interesting, is that they're animal roleplays. I've been doing.. too much Harry Potter.

An original one on one roleplay. It's about time, right? I was browsing the Gaian OOC Forum out of utter boredom and came upon Hyura-san's Request Thread. I was immediately attracted to the first idea:

It's a yaoi (male slash) roleplay, by the way.
The setting takes place in ..post medieval France, I believe.

Hyura-san:
A young, arrogant prince coming from a proud Kingdom struggles to find his place and purpose in the royal family and longes to become the King in his father's footsteps, but unfortunatly, the crown is to go to his eldest brother once the King dies, leaving him to realize he's only second-best to his revered father.

Whether it was the grudge he held against his brother and father or simply for the fact that he--like every member of the royal family--was spoiled awfully growing up, it has caused him to become a very unpleasent and cold child.

One day, he meets a young poor boy and decides to take him into his home. His intentions, however, are anything but good. He treats the boy as a slave and object to unleash his bottled torment upon.
But even through his abuse, is the prince truly a cruel, heartless man, or is he simply misunderstood?

The Prince

Hyura-san
Name: Alexandre
Age: Young Teens
Appearance: It isn't too difficult to see that young Alexandre aquired his looks from his mother's side of the family--flowing golden hair, spring green eyes locked with hues of hazel and turquoise, and a healthy little frame that proves he would be both strong and handsome when he grows older. Even with such radiant beauty and elegent gestures, however, he is anything but a proper gentleman. Many people say he has the face of an angel and the heart of demon, but he is not quite as cruel as people make him out to be. He simply has... a very bad temper.
Personality: Arrogant, cocky, self-centered--he has any and every symptom of being a child spoiled rotten by his unnaturally easy lifestyle. Raising the stubborn boy was anything but easy. He seems to be determined to make everyone around him miserable since he cannot find happiness for himself.


The Poor Boy

Name: (you choose) I named him "Narcisse"
Age: Young Teens
Appearance: Due to lack of eating he is terribly skinny and decently weak. The boy can't afford any nice clothing and often wears a simple white tunic or otherwise tattered clothing. Although he might be considered ugly by some, a closer look is all it takes to see the beauty he holds. Soft auburn curls fall around his cheekbones and thick eyelashes of the same color conceal big, grey orbs that appear to be blue in some lights. Many--especially the rich people--wouldn't stand to look twice at him. But if you were to do so you would find that he too holds a certain... gracefulness that you would expect from a virgin maiden.
Personality: Even with my premades and OCs I encourage whomever plays them to make the character their own. You're free to give him any personality, name, backstory, and purpose you want. He could be anything from a typical street rat to a prostitute to the son of a traveling circus man for all I care. The more creative you are the happier it makes me.
--- Narcisse is the son of a Gypsy Fortune Teller [Roxanne]. He is very obedient towards his mother, but he is still young and naive, and so he likes to explore.. He appears to have a foul mouth, especially towards royalty.

Introducing my newest Hufflepuff..

Character's Name: Aldara Fay Spring
Nickname: 'Dara or Spring
Sex: Female
Age: 17
House: Hufflepuff
Year: 7
Wand: Abraxan Feather Core; Hawthorn; 12 in.

Appearance:
Aldara doesn't possess the build of your average aristocratic pureblooded witch. Standing at a height of 5'7", she is lean and fairly athletic, and built with strong arms and legs. Her fair complexion is a small shade darker than fair from spending time in the sun, as well as working with the winged horses. She likes to keep her fingernails short, and her teeth aren't strikingly white, but decent nonetheless. Aldara's hair is dark blonde with a hue of light caramel, which is a little past shoulder length. The bangs reach up to her thin brows, parting to the left. She is usually found with her hair down, but she may put it up in a ponytail or low pigtails. Her eyes are a shade of deep green, which adds to her passive appearance.

History:
In a spacious, unplotted area in Northern Wales, the Springs own a winged horse ranch that cares for and raises winged horses used mainly for racing. Winged Horse Racing doesn't match the popularity of Quidditch, but it is still a fascinating event to watch. The Springs mainly have Granians, the fastest of the winged horse breeds, but they also have Aethonans and other winged horses in a variety of colors. Despite the good amount of money the Springs have earned, they refuse to live the life of wealthy purebloods and continue to do what they love.

Along with the feathered horses, Aldara was born and raised on this ranch. Since she was young, she helped care for the horses, and has grown to love them. However, she yearns to do something different when she grows older.

Family:
Jasper George Spring [age 42; former Hufflepuff]
Jasper's the owner of the Spring Ranch who has a great fondness for Winged Horses, hence choosing the path to raising such lovely creatures. He's a friendly fellow who loves to see a smile on his customers' faces.

Margaret Anne Spring [age 40; former Gryffindor]
As co-owner of the Spring Ranch, Mother Margaret is the veterinarian of the group. She always checks to make sure that every horse is healthy and in good condition. She's just as friendly as her husband, but more demanding -- quite typical of being a mother.

Bertram Maverick Spring [age 15; Ravenclaw]
A rather inquisitive young boy. Bertram is very usually patient, especially for a boy his age, and he possesses an easygoing demeaner. He prefers hanging around the "older" crowd (he wouldn't mind some kids his age), being affectionate towards girls, and if he gets acquainted with a guy with an interesting perception, that person may become an admirable individual. Because of his sweet and gentle nature, people believe that he's weak-willed - someone who can't fend for himself.

Pets: Cyrus - Male British Shorthair; smoke coloured coat, golden eyes, and a bit on the chubby side.

Personality:
Aldara's a jovial young lady with the audacity of a Gryffindor. She prefers the company of guys to girls, though she isn't a complete misogynist. She is undisturbed by a strong use of profranity or other acts of rude behavior. The Hufflepuff can be a bit crude, herself. In public, Aldara appears to be a kind individual devoid of mischief, but her true personality doesn't seem to match with her appearance. However, she posssesses the loyalty of your average Hufflepuff and may show signs of affection to the ones she cares about. Despite the occassional rough housing and improper behavior to the female persona, Aldara will only "behave" when necessary. Aldara may be a bundle of energy, but she is surprisingly patient on terms with unpredictable situations. She also has an appreciation for natural beauty.

Weaknesses: Like everyone else, Aldara had obstacles to face, and some of them weren't exactly pleasant. Charms is the easiest subject, right? During her earlier years at Hogwarts, it was one of the few subjects Aldara has struggled with the most. She's improved over the years, but she can mess up with a charm every once in a while. As for being a patient person, even History of Magic can bore her to death. Aldara is better at handling things physically, such as Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology, but she isn't the top genius of the crew.

Likes: CoMC (Care of Magical Creatures), Herbology, Quidditch, the Outdoors, having fun, mild liquor, etc.
Dislikes: Ignorance, people who are vain and insufferable, bland food, bananas, etc.
